WISCONSIN GOVERNOR
Governor
Jim Doyle (Democrat)
was elected in 2002 and sworn in on January 6th, 2003 as Wisconsin's 44th governor. He was reelected in 2006 and sworn in on January 3, 2007, becoming the first Democratic governor to be re-elected in Wisconsin in 32 years. Doyle attended Stanford University for three years, then finished his senior year at UW-Madison. He is a 1972 graduate of Harvard Law School.
