Who knows your hometown better than you?! Here's the info for submitting photos.We would like to put on our website photos that are great representations of each individual city, village and town in Wisconsin. The digital pics will be creatively placed on each respective pop-up. Let me explain that a little better. For example, in Hayward we think it's appropriate to have a picture of the giant four-story muskie. In Rhinelander, it'd be nice to have a photo of a Hodag. On the Madison pop-up we already have a picture of the state capital building. On the Racine pop-up we posted an image of the Lighthouse at Wind Point. When you visit a pop-up, you'll initially see a Wisconsin map showing that city's general location. When you use your mouse to pass your curser over the map, you'll see it change to an image respresentative of that city. Pretty cool, huh?! Try it. I think you get the idea. I'm slowly gathering up some photos of my own, but if you've got a significant photo that you're especially proud of and want the world to see, please email it! Disclaimer: We have limited space, so we might not be able to use all submitted pictures on the site. If we do use your photo, we'll certainly give you full credit. ... No money though, since we don't have any. Also, we have the right to crop any image to fit the space, but don't worry, we'll be nice. |
